BREAKING NEWS:Miracle escape for 108 passengers as plane overshoots runway and lands in sea in Bali(PHOTOS)

The Lion Air jet is believed to have overshot the runway in Denparsar and crashed into the water.

 Emergency services have rushed to the scene to mount a rescue effort. Incredibly, early reports from the scene have said all 172 passengers are safe.

 Many stood on the aircraft's wings to avoid the water, main picture. Lion Airways Pilot M.Ghazali is pictured left being helped ashore following the crash. Lion Air is currently banned from flying with the European Union because of concerns over its safety levels.
